Responsibilities

• Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965.

Qualifications

• Per RN licensure requirement.
• Two years RN experience required, previous experience in Med/Surg, home health or wound care preferred.
• Currently registered in the State of Texas or compact.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting.
• Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
• Strong interpersonal skills required to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and physicians.
• Good time management skills and critical thinking skills required.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as web-based databases programs and the Intranet.
