About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients being evaluated in the structural heart program. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans and participating in quality improvement programs.

Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is looking for exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurses to join our Cardiology Structural Heart team and make a difference for our patients and our community.

Under the direction of the Cardiology Nurse Supervisor, the structural heart nurse is responsible and accountable for the delivery of nursing care to patients being evaluated in the structural heart program.

The nurse is responsible for collaborating with other healthcare team members (e.g.

MD, PA, NP, RN, ambulatory care coordinators) to develop and implement the patient’s plan of care.

The RN is responsible for delegation, oversight, and evaluation of delegated care plan tasks.

The RN will participate in department Quality Improvement Programs.

This position supports and participates in achieving departmental goals.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Work schedule

Monday-Friday, hours may vary between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota.
  • Completion of an accredited associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program in Nursing.
  • 3-5 years of Nursing experience.
  • WI RN licensure within 6 months of hire.
  • Certifications:
  • BLS for healthcare providers.

Requirements

Candidates must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota with a degree in Nursing and 3-5 years of experience. BLS certification is required, and WI RN licensure must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
