Job Details

Our Float Pool RNs

Be responsible for floating between various Nursing Units throughout the hospital based on need Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and overall management of care for the patient population on the nursing unit Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.

Qualifications

Passion for caring for a diverse patient population 1+ Years of acute care hospital based nursing (RN) experience Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required or currently enrolled in a BSN program Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration required Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required ACLS must be attained within 6 months of hire

Salary Range

Usd $66.74 - Usd $66.74 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least one year of acute care hospital nursing experience and a BSN degree or be currently enrolled in a BSN program. A New York RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications are required.
