Overview Registered Nurse – LDRP and Newborn Nursery (Travel) | Newark, New York, United States | Start 08/17/2026 | 13 weeks | $2,210–$2,379 per week | Guaranteed hours: 0 | Shift: Nights 3x12 | Hospital setting. This travel assignment covers the Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum continuum and Newborn Nursery, with independent duties across obstetric care, neonatal care, and perioperative support. EPIC charting is required.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
• Provide newborn assessment, resuscitation, and postpartum/newborn care in LDRP and Newborn Nursery
• Circulate, scrub for C-section procedures, and participate in the C-section PACU
• Monitor external/internal fetal monitoring and respond to obstetric emergencies
• Manage postpartum hemorrhage, epidural care, IV starts, and infusion pumps
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy) and document in EPIC

Requirements

• Active New York RN license (in hand or eligible to submit)
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of acute hospital RN experience with hands-on OB care (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn) in LDRP and Newborn Nursery
• EPIC charting experience (hard requirement)
• Ability to work nights on a 3x12 schedule, rotate weekends, and float within skillset
• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program (or equivalent education for RN)
