Overview MRI Tech (Radiology) – MRI specialty, Burlington, Vermont, US.

Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13–16 week travel assignment in a hospital setting.

Weekly pay range: 2,813–2,961 USD per week.

12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday each week, with no on-call requirement.

This assignment requires Philips MRI experience and is designated for teaching hospital environments, with a focus on high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations on Philips MRI systems following physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare patients, obtain safety screening, verify identity, and monitor patients throughout imaging
  • Position patients with appropriate immobilization and coils; select sequences and adjust parameters to optimize diagnostic quality
  • Administer and monitor contrast material when clinically indicated and per policy; manage patient safety and any adverse reactions
  • Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR (Epic) and coordinate with radiologists for image review and reporting
  • Maintain equipment readiness, troubleshoot technical issues, and uphold infection prevention and safety standards

Requirements

  • Active ARRT or ARMRIT MRI license; MR advanced licensure required
  • MRI tech certification verification (equivalency) and BLS certification
  • Philips MRI experience required; minimum 1 year MRI experience
  • Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
  • Teaching hospital experience required
  • Prior travel experience preferred
  • Availability for 12-hour weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday) in a Burlington, VT assignment
