Overview Radiology Technologist – CT (CT Tech) in Portland, OR, starting 08/03/2026 for a 7-week travel assignment. Earn $2,322–$2,447 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week on evenings (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images; adjust protocols based on patient size and clinical indication; perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
  • Manage patient care during imaging, including positioning, patient safety, comfort, and, when applicable, contrast administration.
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation; ensure image quality and correct labeling.
  • Utilize PACS/teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate destination; maintain accurate patient records and billing information.
  • Maintain CT equipment through routine calibration, quality checks, and supply inventory; troubleshoot basic technical issues while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
  • Licenses/Certifications: ARRT RT(R)(CT) or RT(R) (ARRT) required; ARRT-CT certification required; Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI (preferred in CA); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA/ARC acceptable)
  • Experience: At least two years of recent radiology experience
  • Additional licensing: Current nursing license per the state of assignment
  • Venipuncture certification: Not required but can be preferred in some regions
