Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers.
  • Assess patient status, monitor progression, and contribute to individualized care plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications and therapies; document care accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and significant others; advocate for safety, comfort, and informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the care team to uphold evidence-based practice and ensure safety and quality standards.
  • Uphold the voice of the patient and support service excellence while adhering to unit policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Active Georgia Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  • Knowledge and application of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
  • Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts in an inpatient care setting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork.
  • Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team of licensed and unlicensed staff.
  • Adherence to applicable policies, procedures, and privacy regulations.
