Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Marysville, CA. Start date: 08/10/2026.

Duration

8 weeks.

Weekly pay: $2,100–$2,167 per week.

Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Shift

3x12-hour nights.

Setting

Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This assignment is offered by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care for ER patients across age groups, following physician orders and the nursing process
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, triage, and monitoring; implement and adjust the plan of care as needed
  • Administer medications and IV therapies; monitor responses and manage IV starts and sedation within scope and guidelines
  • Collaborate with physicians and the health care team; participate in handoffs and ensure timely interventions
  • Document observations and interventions accurately in the EMR; maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards
  • Deliver patient and family education and coordinate discharge planning as part of the overall care plan

Requirements

  • Active RN licensure in California (or state of practice)
  • BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required at time of hire; TNCC within 1 year; IV Sedation competency within 6 months; Dysrhythmia competency
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
