About the role

Overview Registered Nurse – ICU | Sonora, California | Start 08/03/2026 | 13 weeks | $1,731-$1,810 per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Night shift (3x12-hour nights) | Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care to ICU patients using the nursing process and established standards
  • Monitor patient status, assess data, and identify care needs; implement and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the patient/family to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels; delegate tasks as appropriate
  • Participate in discharge planning and provide patient and family education to support continuity of care
  • Maintain a safe, healing environment and ensure accuracy of documentation and safety protocols

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice)
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimum two years of recent ICU or acute care nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS (AHA/ARC) required
  • Ability to work night shifts in an ICU setting
  • CPR/BLS and facility-specific credentialing requirements met prior to start
