Overview Radiology Tech – Multimodality Technologist, Sonora, CA. Travel assignment starting 08/03/2026 for 6 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,311–$2,511 per week. Guaranteed hours 48 per week.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities (x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and/or mammography) with proficiency in at least three modalities.
  • Safely position, transport, and image patients; operate mobile imaging equipment as needed; ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare contrast agents and assist with administration; monitor for adverse reactions and follow established protocols.
  • Maintain image quality and accurate documentation; verify orders and support department workflow to meet objectives.
  • Ensure equipment readiness, conduct basic quality control checks, and uphold radiation safety principles in accordance with ALARA.

Requirements

  • California Radiologic Technologist license (RT) active; ARRT certification required.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography; must hold certification in at least one advanced modality (CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, or PET) and be able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality.
  • BLS (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.
  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Three years’ technical radiology experience preferred; two or more years of recent field experience considered.
