About the role

Provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population in the Emergency Department, including assessment, monitoring, and treatment implementation. Collaborate with the healthcare team to document care in EPIC and coordinate discharge planning.

Overview Registered Nurse - ER, Marysville, CA, United States. Travel - Temporary Assignment beginning 08/10/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay $2,077–$2,175 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, professional nursing care for patients in the ED, spanning neonatal to geriatric populations as appropriate for the unit
  • Perform initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and timely escalation of patient status; prioritize care based on nursing process and medical plan
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and manage IVs, labs, and monitoring equipment
  • Collaborate with physicians and the broader health care team to implement the treatment plan and ensure safe, effective patient care
  • Document care in the electronic health record (EPIC) and communicate patient status clearly to team members
  • Deliver patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination with ancillary services as needed

Requirements

  • California RN license (active); BSN preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification required at time of hire
  • PALS certification required at time of hire for Emergency Department; TNCC within 1 year of hire; IV Sedation within 6 months of hire
  • Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during Orientation for all depts except Obstetrics and NICU
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care or emergency settings
  • EPIC EMR experience required
