Start date: 08/10/2026.

This is a 12-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week and a shift of 7:00 AM–7:00 PM in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,113 to $2,233 per week.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for each cardiovascular case by checking required supplies and equipment; assemble supplies and set up the sterile field
  • Assist with passing instruments, supplies, and medications; maintain aseptic technique and perform counts with the RN
  • Manage instrument and supply inventory for assigned cases; ensure readiness of specialty equipment and tray setup
  • Transport patients and support unit activities, including clerical duties and data collection as needed
  • Clean, sterilize, and maintain equipment and facilities; label solutions according to established standards

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required; Associate's/Technical degree preferred
  • Certifications: CST certification or TS-C (Tech in Surgery) certification required; CPR/BLS certification required
  • Experience: At least two years of recent field experience
  • Licenses: Current nursing license per the state of assignment required
  • Additional: Operating room experience or training course preferred; CNA certification preferred
  • Ability to work in a surgical/OR environment and adhere to infection control standards
