Department/Unit Summary This position provides comprehensive patient care by assessing and monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, coordinating care across the Cardiovascular Service Line, including but not limited to, Structural Heart Disease, Electrophysiology, CT Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Rehab, and Coumadin Clinic, and managing follow-up for patients with cardiac devices. The RN educates patients and families, triages high-risk cardiac patients, performs post-operative assessments, collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and supports the implementation of clinical initiatives and protocols. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requires a current state RN license, an associate's degree in nursing, and 2-4 years of acute care or cardiovascular nursing experience. BLS certification is required within 30 days, with ACLS and PALS required within six months.
