  • Purpose: - The Behavioral Tech II at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing direct care and support to clients during Shift 3. This role involves assisting in the implementation of treatment plans, monitoring client behavior, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for all clients. The Behavioral Tech II plays a critical role in the recovery and well-being of clients by fostering a supportive and structured atmosphere.

  • Responsibilities: - Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans by providing direct care and support to clients. - Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and any significant incidents in accordance with organizational policies. - Ensure the safety and security of clients by maintaining a therapeutic environment and adhering to safety protocols. - Facilitate group activities and therapeutic sessions as directed by clinical staff. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the treatment goals and objectives of each client. - Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary to manage challenging behaviors. - Assist clients with daily living activities and promote independence and self-care skills. - Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health care. - Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to support the treatment process. - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients and staff.
  • QualificationsRequired
  • Education: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Associate degree or higher in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting. - Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders or substance abuse issues. - Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare environment is advantageous.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a behavioral health setting. Preferred candidates hold an associate degree in psychology or social work and have experience with mental health or substance abuse issues.
