About the role

Perform specialized interventional radiology and coronary angiography procedures including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in the Cath lab. Operate radiologic and ultrasound equipment while ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety regulations.

As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for Cath lab duties to include scrubbing procedure cases, monitoring, and circulating.

Essential Functions of the Role

Perform specialized procedures; including peripheral vascular, interventional radiology, and coronary interventional and diagnostic angiography procedures using digital and conventional techniques.

Operate radiologic, IVUS, atherectomy, and US equipment.

Use radiation safety measures and protection devices for government regulations and patient safety.

Review for clarity developed x-rays for diagnostic purposes and physician interpretation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Cath Lab or Procedural Lab experience preferred
  • Radiology Technologist license

Perks

Work Environment

This position is a procedural position in the surgery center/cath lab.

Physical Requirements

This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
