UT Physicians urogynecology specialists have broad experience in the management and care of women with lower urinary tract and pelvic floor conditions.

From pelvic floor prolapse to urinary incontinence, our board-certified urogynecologists provide a full spectrum of diagnoses and treatments for various conditions affecting pelvic health.

The Nurse Practitioner can expect to join our Sugarland Land team of comprehensive, multidisciplinary urogynecology experts trained in female pelvic health and advanced, minimally invasive treatments.

Position Summary

Provides advanced nursing care to patients in a clinical setting in an area of specialization under the direction of a physician. Position Key Accountabilities: Performs relevant patient assessments and physical examinations. Coordinates, directs, and implements patient's plan of care. Orders, conducts, and interprets pertinent laboratory and diagnostic studies and procedures. Makes medical recommendations and/or referrals. Formulates, implements, and evaluates an outcome-based treatment plan. Maintains appropriate records detailing the patient's treatment plans and outcomes. Facilitates patient education relating to medical processes, medication, nutrition, and health promotion. Collaborates with patients, families, other clinicians, and referral services to assist in the patient's recovery. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requires a Master's Degree in Nursing and APRN-NP certification from the Texas Board of Nursing. Must hold a valid RN license and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
