At Radiant Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional mental health services and fostering a culture of care and well-being. Direct Care Professionals are responsible for teaching skills in the areas of daily functioning, self-care, and home management with clients. Employees work with clients in the assigned Supervised Group Living Home, with administrative assistance and clinical intervention available 24 hours daily. Employees shall function in compliance with all organizational policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations. To support a safe and healthy environment for the individuals we serve and for one another, all employees of Radiant Health are required to comply with organizational health and infection prevention requirements as a condition of employment. This includes providing documentation of immunization status, completing required health screenings, and adhering to communicable disease prevention protocols applicable to the role and work environment. Radiant Health will review requests for reasonable accommodation in accordance with applicable federal and state law. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalency required Documented competence in understanding severe and persistent mental illnesses and establishing therapeutic communication and interactions preferred. Competency to teach and demonstrate day-to-day living skills to adult clients. Has or be willing to obtain CPR Certification. Have and maintain a valid Indiana driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance upon demand. Able to work variable work hours to accommodate specific staffing needs. Must have sight and hearing to be able to observe client behavior and communicate with clients; must have own automobile to drive to and be ambulatory to visit the clients in their home, when necessary, which may involve climbing stairs. Patience and empathy with the ability to accept clients at their level of functioning. Able to uphold professional standards as a representative of the organization.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid Indiana driver's license and automobile insurance. Candidates should possess the ability to work variable hours and have the physical capacity to visit clients in their homes.
