Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Home Health Aide (HHA) provides compassionate, resident-centered care by assisting with personal care, mobility, activities of daily living, and other supportive services. This role promotes residents' independence, dignity, and well-being while helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Team members are expected to uphold our values of Respect, Efficiency, Accountability, and Caring (REACH). Education & Experience Required Qualifications Current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills. Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining confidentiality. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position. Per diem commitment of at least two shifts per month. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals. Support residents with activities of daily living while encouraging independence and preserving dignity. Observe, document, and report changes in residents' condition. Provide companionship and emotional support. Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to resident care. Complete assigned health-related tasks within the Home Health Aide scope of practice and organizational policies. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents. This is a bargaining union position.

Requirements

Must possess a current New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification and be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma is preferred, along with the ability to commit to at least two shifts per month.
