Provide direct care services to residents in assisted living areas, including assistance with activities of daily living and medicinal reminders. Maintain accurate resident service records and ensure a safe, positive social environment.
The primary responsibility of the Resident Assistant is to provide resident care services, as scheduled, under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RSD) in Assisted Living areas, maintaining a positive physical and social environment.
Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the state. May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) depending on the state requirements, if licensed or certified must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency. Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
