Overview Provides and documents direct patient care for patients under the direct supervision of a wound care clinician or provider. While the general age of the patient is adult through geriatric, there may occasionally be infants through pediatric patients. The care will include a safe, comfortable and confidential environment.

Provides and documents direct patient care for patients under the direct supervision of a wound care clinician or provider. While the general age of the patient is adult through geriatric, there may occasionally be infants through pediatric patients. The care will include a safe, comfortable and confidential environment.

Qualifications

Education H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and Preferred Certifications: Patient Care Tech, Athletic Training, Certified Nursing Assistant, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician, or Medical Assistant Preferred Work Experience 1 year of patient care experience Preferred 2 years direct care with patients including wound dressing and assisting with minor surgical procedures Preferred Ability to perform diagnostic testing and checklist completion Preferred Experience with Doppler use Preferred Experience in billing and use of databases Preferred Licenses and Certifications BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS certification through AHA Upon Hire Required Business
