The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and developing customized treatment plans to alleviate pain and restore movement. They also supervise support staff and participate in multidisciplinary patient care conferences.

Perform Physical Therapy evaluation and development of the plan of care appropriate for each patient based on the patient’s physical, mental, emotional, and developmental impairments and functional limitations Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with best practices in physical therapy Provide Physical Therapy interventions in accordance with established standards of care, policies, procedures, and state/federal law Supervise Physical Therapist Assistant and Rehab Aides Complete appropriate documentation for Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant students as assigned by CCCE Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Participate in patient care conferences/ staffing as appropriate for multidisciplinary patients
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program prior to 2005 Master’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program between 2005-2019 Clinical Doctorate from an accredited Physical Therapy program 2020-Present License(s)/Certification(s): Current IA and IL Physical Therapy licensure (or eligible) upon hire Current CPR certification. *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs. The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
Candidates must hold a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate depending on graduation year) and have current CPR certification. Valid Physical Therapy licensure in Iowa and Illinois is required upon hire.
