Qualifications

for a Post Doctoral Residents:

Doctoral Degree: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.

Completed Internship: Completion of an APA-accredited internship program.

EPPP: Must pass EPPP prior to coming on board with Deer Oaks.

Provisional Licensure: Eligibility for provisional licensure as a psychologist in Texas.

Background Check: Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Professional References: Provision of professional references, including clinical supervisors or academic mentors.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Ethical Conduct: Adherence to the APA Code of Ethics and state regulations.
