Sanctuary Recovery Centers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery by providing direct care and assistance in a structured treatment environment.
Must possess a valid BHT certification, or Have a minimum of 4 consecutive years of experience working as a Behavioral Health Technician in the recovery field FPCC (Fingerprint Clearance Card) CPR/First Aid certification Current TB test within the last year Peer Support certification (suggested, not required) CPI certification (suggested, not required)
Provide direct care and supervision to clients in a residential or outpatient setting Assist clients with daily activities and ensure a safe and supportive environment Monitor client behavior and document observations accurately Support therapeutic activities and group sessions as directed by clinical staff Respond to crisis situations and follow established protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support individualized treatment plans
