The Intern Pharmacist interprets physician prescriptions, compounds and dispenses medications, and serves as a drug information resource. They are responsible for monitoring client profiles for drug interactions and ensuring patient safety through accurate medication administration.
River’s Edge Pharmacy has become a leader in infusion therapy services. Administered by specially trained infusion nurses, these services are provided at standalone locations, physicians’ offices, or in the home of the patient. Each location provides individualized care in a private setting for procedures including IVIG, Hemophilia, Chemotherapy, TPN, and Pain Management.

Under Direct Supervision of Pharmacist, interpret physician prescriptions and medication orders. Act as a drug information resource to clients, physicians and healthcare professionals. Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for client care by performing the related duties.
