About the role

Overview Shift

  • Monday–Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Join our team at the Robert Young Center as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at our Clinton Outpatient Clinic! In this rewarding role, you'll provide mental health assessments, therapeutic interventions, and individualized treatment planning to support clients on their journey to recovery. You'll conduct intake assessments, provide individual, family, and couples therapy, develop and update treatment plans, and complete crisis evaluations as needed. Working alongside a collaborative behavioral health team, you'll make a meaningful impact while receiving clinical supervision from an independently licensed supervisor and opportunities for continued professional growth. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, family, and group therapy for clients with behavioral health needs. Complete crisis assessments and coordinate care with the Crisis Stabilization Unit and Robert Young Center Inpatient Unit as needed. Develop, monitor, and update treatment plans while collaborating with community agencies, primary care providers, and other healthcare partners. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with CARF, Medicaid, HIPAA, DNV, and organizational standards. Provide supervision and mentorship to social work or counseling students and participate in staff education and training. Meet clinical productivity standards while delivering compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services in alignment with UnityPoint Health values.

Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

Experience

  • Completion of an accredited internship and/or practicum as part of a master's degree program.
  • License(s)/Certification(s): Current intermediate or temporary licensure in good standing in
  • Illinois or
  • Iowa as one of the following: Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC) *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs. The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and have completed an accredited internship. Current intermediate or temporary licensure (LSW, LMSW, LPC, or tLMHC) in Illinois or Iowa is required.
