The Registered Vascular Tech performs advanced imaging studies using ultrasound and physiologic equipment to diagnose and treat vascular disease. Responsibilities include conducting various duplex examinations, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating across disciplines to coordinate care.
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program. Two (2) years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technician. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
3+ years of vascular experience. Experience working in a vascular surgery or related practice. Experience setting up sterile and non-sterile procedure trays and medical procedure rooms. Experience with medical chart preparation and set-up. Experience working with EPIC Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS). Bilingual, Spanish preferred.
Registered as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross healthcare provider level CPR certification. Must be willing to work in person. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
