Provide surgical coverage for cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular procedures in a full-service acute care hospital. Support office and clinic operations including the management of acute volume and blood pressure issues.

Coverage required for call; locum will provide support in the office/clinic setting.
Clinic operational hours:
Monday to
Friday, 07:00 - 16:00.
All clinic hours and callback hours are billable at the callback rate.

Practice caseload: 100% adult; 100% hospital-based.
Staffing: 1 physician, 2 mid-level providers (APPs).
Onsite diagnostic facilities: laboratory and radiology.
Electronic documentation system: EPIC.
Total bed capacity: 250, with 60 designated for ICU.

General cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
Coronary artery bypass grafting.
Management of congenital defects.
Valvular repair and replacements.
Aneurysm repairs.
Lung resections (including VATS).
Chest wall and pleural procedures.
Surgical procedures for the esophagus and diaphragm.
Endarterectomies (carotid and renal).
