The therapist provides psychotherapy, assessment, and diagnosis for individuals, couples, and families to improve emotional health. Responsibilities include managing a patient caseload, coordinating care with treatment teams, and providing crisis intervention and referrals.

Valley Hospital Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Therapist (MA/MSW) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. Sign on Bonus $5000!! The Therapist (MA/MSW) The Licensed Therapist performs social services and psychotherapy functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while providing assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy treatment of individuals, couples, families, and groups to assist patient’s in achieving their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, psycho-education, complete specialized clinical psychotherapy services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, or related degree A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting or managed care company, with experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, utilization management, and/or case management Licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LIAC, LMFT, LAAC, LAMFT, or Licensed Psychologist required or the ability to obtain withiin 3 months of hire Valley Hospital is a 122-bed psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Master's degree in social work or mental health and at least three years of experience in a healthcare or managed care setting. A valid professional license (such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) is required or must be obtainable within three months of hire.
