Minimum of three years of allied health experience in an acute care setting and Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, Radiology Specials, or Neuro Interventional Procedures experience required OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES). OR .Graduate of an accredited program, and Registration as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International required within six (6) months of hire OR Graduate from a non-accredited program in either electrophysiology or invasive cardiovascular technology. Obtain either RCIS or RCES registration within 24 months of graduation. One year of work experience is required to be eligible for the registry exam. OR Effective July 1, 2026 any graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or postsecondary educational program in Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic, or Echocardiography. Obtain either RCIS or RCES registration within 24 months of hire or transfer to Cardiovascular Technologist Reg job classification. This is outlined in the RCIS235 pathway ACLS certification within six (6) months of hire.
