We are seeking a hybrid part-time Psychiatrist to support our Long Term Structured Residence (LTSR) programs at our Russellton, PA and Beaver Falls, PA, locations.
Pay range: Up to $200/hr
20 hours per week - telehealth + minimum one onsite visit per location per month
Flexible schedule - choose your own days and hours between locations
The Psychiatrist provides leadership for psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and clinical decision-making within the Long Term Structured Residence (LTSR). The Psychiatrist collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive comprehensive, recovery-oriented behavioral health services that promote stability, independence, and successful community integration.
Conducting psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments upon admission and throughout treatment
Developing, reviewing, and approving individualized treatment plans as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting psychiatric medications and evaluating treatment effectiveness.
Providing ongoing psychiatric care, including assessment of mental status, symptom management, and risk factors.
Participating in treatment team meetings and collaborating with nursing, therapy, case management, and direct care staff.
Responding to psychiatric crises and determining the need for emergency interventions or higher levels of care, including hospitalization when indicated.
Ensuring psychiatric services are delivered in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Human Services regulations and professional standards of care.
Supporting resident recovery, rehabilitation, and transition planning to the least restrictive community-based setting possible
Participating in commitment hearings
