About Corewell Health Taylor Hospital Corwell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area.
Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring, Fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography).
Scope of work Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist: implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions.
Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Respiratory Therapist License - State of Michigan Upon Hire required Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
