The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) by providing both clinical and administrative support that ensures smooth daily operations and exceptional patient experiences.
In this role, the Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, answering phones, prepare charts ahead of visits and close care gaps, monitoring incoming patient messages, point of care testing and administering medications and immunizations.
Additional responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting with clinical procedures such as EKGs and wound care.
