About the role

Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients by assessing needs and implementing care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to ensure safe, compassionate care and effective discharge planning.

Overview Registered Nurse - Med Surg in Lodi, California, travel assignment starting 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,639 per week to $1,731 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) on a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
  • Collect relevant patient data, assess needs, and develop a care plan; implement interventions and coordinate care delivery.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as indicated, and evaluate outcomes toward established goals.
  • Collaborate with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team to provide safe, healing, and compassionate care; offer education as appropriate.
  • Participate in discharge planning and coordinate transitions of care to support continuity and safety.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of practice (California) – Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – Required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
  • BSN degree preferred; current nursing practice in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work the listed shift and contribute effectively in a Med Surg unit
