Position Summary

Position maintains physician, patient, providers and staff scheduling systems to ensure efficient scheduling.

Job Description: Primary

Duties & Responsibilities

Initiates/maintains clinical, non-clinical and surgical electronic schedules for physicians and patients. Coordinates with clinical supervisors to optimize scheduling system utility. Develops new functions and innovative uses of system and installs system upgrades, providing current manuals and training/explanations to users. Generates reports and master schedules for physicians, providers, patients and staff, assisting with data analysis as needed. Coordinates scheduling with billing IDX dictionaries, acting as liaison with departments clinical/billing supervisors. Troubleshoots system for all users, conducting audits to maintain effective use of systems. Participates in department/university meetings to ensure scheduling system meets needs and objectives established. May supervise assigned staff.

Salary Range

$19.29 - $29.91 / Hourly The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
