The Lab Assistant is responsible for specimen collection via venipuncture and capillary draws, as well as processing and labeling specimens for testing. They also conduct basic lab tests and maintain equipment and cleanliness according to regulatory standards.

Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture and capillary draws Process, label, and prepare specimens for in-house testing or external lab transport Conduct basic waived/moderate complexity lab tests as permitted Maintain lab equipment, supplies, and cleanliness according to regulatory standards Ensure proper documentation and timely reporting of lab results
Phlebotomy experience Basic laboratory experience or training preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic rural healthcare setting Commitment to providing culturally competent, patient-centered care Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week - No Weekends Compensation & Benefits: Competitive wage based on experience Employer contribution towards health insurance through group coverage Retirement plan with employer contribution 11 paid holidays annually Paid Time Off (PTO) including vacation, personal, and sick leave
