Weekly pay: $2,047–$2,141. This position emphasizes nursing care and care coordination for a group of patients within a home health environment, with opportunities to supervise and delegate to other caregivers as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
  • Implement and document nursing care per predetermined procedures, policies, and care plans.
  • Identify learning needs of patients and significant others; provide education per policy and care plans.
  • Document in the patient chart via electronic medical records or paper processes in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate delegation and supervision of care activities for assigned staff; coordinate patient care outcomes.
  • May function as a Charge Nurse, supporting admissions, discharges, transfers, and unit coverage as needed; ensure safety and proper problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Active Washington State RN license.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire (AHA or equivalent).
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS within 12 months; TNCC within 12 months; PEARS within 12 months; moderate sedation training within 12 months (per unit addendum).
  • RN-C preferred.
  • Experience: acute care RN experience preferred; minimum of 1 year RN experience preferred for specialty nursing areas.
  • Ability to work in a home healthcare ICU setting and to collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
