Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process, with attention to safety and patient comfort.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion.
• Assess patient conditions, plan and implement care, monitor outcomes, and document care in the electronic health record with accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, case managers, and other members of the care team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care across shifts.
• Prioritize patient safety and infection control, participate in quality improvement activities, and advocate for patient rights and individualized care plans.

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license in the United States; state-specific licensure may be required for the assignment
• Ability to perform 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting and participate in a travel assignment
• Demonstrated critical thinking, assessment, and care coordination skills
• Experience in hospital nursing with telemedicine, telemetry, or remote patient management preferred
• Strong documentation and interprofessional communication abilities
