About the role

Overview Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,743–$1,790 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients in accordance with established standards and the nursing process.
  • Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with multidisciplinary teammates.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patient response.
  • Analyze assessment data, identify care needs, and adjust plans to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document findings accurately, educate patients and families, and promote a safe, healing environment; delegate appropriately and oversee delegation of tasks.

Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) and current BLS/CPR certification per policy; ACLS required.
  • Education: BSN preferred.
  • Experience: At least two years of recent ICU/acute care field experience.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting; strong critical thinking, assessment, and collaboration with the care team.
  • Additional: Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in discharge planning as part of the care team.
