We are looking for a Vascular Technologist to assist the physicians in diagnosing and treating patients in the office, surgical suite or hospital setting. Your goal is to ensure a smooth workflow so our patients receive the best possible care.
Prepare patients for non-invasive diagnostic vascular procedures
Prepare area for the placement of testing equipment; perform vascular tests on patients (including arterial and venous leg testing, carotid artery imaging)
Use ultrasound machines to record vascular information, such as blood flow and pressure; cerebral, abdominal and peripheral circulation
During procedures, monitor patient’s vital signs/assist with rooming patients as back up to MA
Maintain equipment
(May) schedule patients for testing
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure safe operation of equipment.
Handle protected health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Participate in Quality Improvement Program and initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned; seeks guidance and direction when needed.

Requires a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Registered Vascular Technician and an Associate's degree in diagnostic medical sonography. Must hold RVT or RVS certification.
