Overview Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a 9-week travel assignment in long-term care in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Start date is 08/03/2026 with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Shifts are night 12-hour blocks (3x12 Nights) from 19:00 to 07:30.

The ordering setting is a skilled nursing facility, and this is a travel - temporary assignment.

Weekly pay ranges from $936 to $979.

Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications and manage dosages according to the plan of care
  • Monitor residents’ health status, document changes, and report to the supervising RN or physician
  • Provide direct nursing care and assist with activities of daily living
  • Support wound care, catheter/care as trained, and basic clinical procedures as appropriate
  • Maintain safety and infection control standards, adhere to fall prevention protocols, and ensure accurate charting
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate resident care and communicate changes to families as needed

Requirements

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico
  • Graduate of an approved LPN program
  • Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
  • Availability for night shift (19:00–07:30) and 12-hour shifts
  • Local Albuquerque-area candidate preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
