Description Job Title: LPN or CMA

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Scheduling and Triage Nurse to join our Family Medicine Clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care to patients of all ages and a commitment to promoting wellness and disease prevention.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Check patients in, verifying demographics and insurance data
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing care to patients
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor patients' conditions and document patient information accurately and timely
  • Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining patient records

Requirements

  • Active nursing license or Medical Assistant Certificate in the state of practice
  • BLS and Mandatory Reporter Certificates
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
