Essentia Health is seeking a Surgical Aide to serve in operating room at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota. This aide works primary day shifts (7a-4p and 10a-7p). Evening shifts of 3p-12a and on call are required one out of every four weeks. One weekend every four weeks is also required, as well as on-call and holiday rotations. This is primarily a cleaning role and is not involved in direct patient care. Education Qualifications: No educational requirements. We are like nowhere else: https://vimeo.com/284233541 What You'll Do: Under the direction of the Business Manager, stocks and censuses supplies and equipment in all areas of OR-Surgical Services and Perfusion to ensure the maintenance of proper levels of supplies, materials and equipment. Maintains department/work area in a safe, clean and orderly condition to assure safe operation and product integrity. Additional responsibilities will include the transport of stable patients from inpatient rooms and assisting transporting critical patients from the ICU and ER to the operating room or pre-op area.
