Responsibilities

Performs a full scope of General Ultrasound technological procedures including OB/GYN, Abdominal, Certain Vascular procedures (ie: Carotid and Venous doppler) and small parts utilizing Ultrasound scanning equipment on patients to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disease At Garnet Health, we are committed to supporting your career growth and professional potential. • The compensation range for the role is $44.37 - $51.41 hourly (non-registered) and $46.22- $53.31 (registered).

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.
• Minimum
• Experience: One year clinical experience recommended.
• Required
• Certification/
• Registration: ARDMS Registered in OB/GYN or Breast or Abdomen, or Registry eligible.
• Must be registered within 18 months of hire date
• Physical
• Requirements: Frequently and intense visual activity at least 50 percent of the day. Color recognition (shades and intensities). Frequent lifting and repositioning of patients required. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted.

Evidence of visual and aural acuity and finger and hand dexterity to operate computer and office equipment. Can withstand long periods of sitting, standing and/or constant walking. Ability to lift 10 lbs.

May be subject to irregular hours including evenings or potentially weekends to participate in operational and community events as necessary. Works inside controlled lab facilities. Often performing ultrasound exams in partially darkened exam room.
