At Southeastern Integrated Care (SEIC), our mission is “to improve the lives we serve with comprehensive integrated health services, not bound by convention.” We are seeking a full-time Qualified Professional (QP) in Lumberton, NC, to support our Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC).
7am – 7pm or 7pm - 7 am, 3 days a week.
Your impact on the team’s mission
In this vital role as the QP, you will provide immediate behavioral health assessments, crisis intervention, and short-term management for patients experiencing urgent mental health or behavioral health issues. Your expertise will help stabilize individuals in distress, coordinate appropriate care plans, and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff alike. Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and screenings utilizing medical terminology and physiology knowledge to determine patient needs.
Provide immediate crisis intervention and behavioral health support for patients presenting with acute mental health or substance use issues.
Collaborate with hospital staff, social workers, addiction counselors, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective discharge planning and case management strategies.
Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
