About the role

Perform routine hematology laboratory testing and analysis of biological specimens to support clinical trial research. Responsible for generating accurate analytical data, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing laboratory inventory and housekeeping.

Job Summary: Perform routine hematology laboratory testing and analysis to support clinical trial research.

This role is responsible for generating accurate analytical data, maintaining regulatory compliance, and contributing to efficient laboratory operations in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM What You'll Be Doing: Perform routine analysis of biological specimens and accurately document results according to SOPs and regulatory requirements Evaluate analytical results using laboratory computer systems and verify data accuracy Identify, document, and escalate unusual results, discrepancies, or potential performance issues to senior laboratory personnel Prepare laboratory buffers, reagents, and solutions required for testing activities Store samples and reagents appropriately following analysis and laboratory protocols Assist with laboratory housekeeping activities in accordance with 6S standards and safety requirements Monitor inventory levels and notify appropriate staff of supply shortages Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives What We Are Looking For: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some CAP/CLIA laboratory locations may require a Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology 6 months relevant lab experience Basic knowledge of laboratory principles and testing methodologies Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and applicable regulatory agency standards Knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and terminology used in the area of responsibility Basic computer skills for laboratory data review and documentation Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree The

Needed for This Role: Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and manage laboratory workflow Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and communicate clearly and accurately Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, infection control procedures, standard precautions, and hazardous chemical handling Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and escalate unusual results Commitment to quality, safety, compliance, and continuous learning Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with some locations requiring a Bachelor's degree in a science field. Candidates must have at least 6 months of relevant lab experience and basic knowledge of GLP and laboratory principles.
