A Day in the Life of an RN - Obstetrical (OB) As a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Obstetrics (OB) at our rural healthcare facility, you will provide comprehensive maternal-child healthcare encompassing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. You are expected to utilize your expertise in nursing theory, employing effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals. Challenges include high-stakes environments requiring quick decision-making and adaptation to diverse patient needs, particularly during emergency situations like Code C-sections or Code Pink alerts. Your role will also involve leadership, supervising patient care teams to ensure high-quality care delivery and efficiency. The nursing process observation, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation guides all your activities, aiming for excellence in patient outcomes. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience as an RN. Please be sure to include all applicable experience in your application.
