Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.
Job Requirements: High School graduate or GED.
2+ year’s previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs).
Completion of sterile compounding training/competency (as required by State BOP).
Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Candidates must be a high school graduate with at least 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience and a CPhT certification. Required qualifications include sterile compounding competency and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
