Clinical Nurse Resident Role Overview The Clinical Nurse Resident provides comprehensive nursing care to patients and families through an individualized plan of care.

This plan is guided by patient assessments—including physical, psychological, and socioeconomic factors—and physician orders for treatment, education, and care.
