Abcor Home Health, Inc. is growing and seeking reliable and compassionate Substitute Aides to join our team. In this role, you will support our branches by filling in open shifts, assisting clients with daily needs, and ensuring continuity of care when primary caregivers are unavailable. Substitute Aides play a key role in maintaining high-quality service and ensuring clients receive the care they deserve.
$500 Sign-On Bonus

Key Responsibilities · Help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility · Light housekeeping to keep the home safe · Support with errands and appointments · Follow the care plan and report changes · Document visits in our home care app · Complete required training and quarterly check-ins · Fill in cases as needed — Substitute Aides do not have permanent clients and may work with a client for up to one week at a time · Receive weekly assignments from the Branch Manager or Supervisor based on client needs
· High school diploma/GED · Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience · Experience using Hoyer lifts, gait belts, transfer boards, and other mobility equipment · Able to work Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM + some weekends · Background check clearance · Driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle · Willing to work with various client conditions (pets, smokers, etc.) · 24 hours of preservice training (provided online)
