Job Purpose Provide medical services, prenatal care support, and education to patients of Aspire Women's Clinic based on the FOCUS method, supporting at-risk women in a pro-life setting. This position serves women experiencing unplanned pregnancies through pregnancy confirmation services, limited obstetrical care, patient education, and prenatal support for patients through 19 weeks' gestation.
Labor & Delivery or OB/GYN Experience Preferred (Not Required)
Clinical Responsibilities Pregnancy and STD Screening Perform urine pregnancy screenings and STD screenings as needed.
Prenatal Care Support Provide education regarding pregnancy, fetal development, maternal health, nutrition, and prenatal care.
Assist in the care of prenatal patients through 19 weeks gestation in accordance with clinic protocols.
Obtain laboratory specimens, including blood draws for OB panels and other ordered prenatal laboratory testing.
Treatment Administer STD treatment medications according to clinic protocol.
Patient Education Conduct health history assessments and provide education on unplanned pregnancy options, prenatal health, and available community resources.
Documentation Conclude appointments with personalized assessments, education materials, pregnancy verification (if applicable), and referrals to appropriate medical and community resources.
Risk Assessment Determine appropriate follow-up care based on the patient's risk assessment and clinical needs.
Abortion Pill Reversal Provide abortion pill reversal medication therapy according to protocol.
Ultrasound Perform limited ultrasound procedures.
Charting Utilize the Ekyros system for patient charting, documentation, and auditing.
Advocacy Conduct patient intake, education, counseling, and support.
Other Duties Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Nurse Manager.
Community Responsibilities Attend Walk for Life community fundraiser. Participate in the annual Christmas celebration.
Other Responsibilities Attend mandatory medical staff meetings.
Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Labor & Delivery, Women's Health, Maternal Child Health, or OB/GYN experience preferred but not required. Experience performing venipuncture and laboratory specimen collection preferred. Strong Christian faith (devotion to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior). Commitment to serving and supporting at-risk women in alignment with a pro-life mission. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
